The Community Center building is available,
for a nominal rental, to all citizens, especially residents of Sky Valley. Some of our recent
users include:
· The
Sky Valley Community Council, an
advisory panel to Riverside County Supervisor John Benoit, has meets at 6 pm
second Tuesdays, in January, March, May, September, and November. The council also
advises County Service Area 104, which maintains the roads in Sky Valley. See the county's council web page HERE.
Since the COVID lockdowns, the Council has met via Zoom, but we look forward to
the day when physical meetings happen again.
· The
Sky Valley Homeowners Association is
an informal Citizens’ Advocacy group dedicated to preserving Sky Valley’s
peaceful rural lifestyle. The
association meets at the Center at 7 pm third Thursdays, in January, March,
May, September, and November. See its
website HERE.
· F.I.N.D.
(Food In Need of Distribution) distributes in the Center parking lot third
Tuesdays from 4 to 5:30 PM. Each event is contingent on F.I.N.D. having food
donations to support it.
